HERE'S HOW YOU CAN MAKE THE MOST OUT OF YOUR WEEKLY MEMBERSHIP AT THE CLUB!
Here at the CLUB we offer a number of different Weekly Membership options to our Community.
We simply want you to find the best Membership option that suits you and your lifestyle, enabling you to get the most out of your time at the CLUB with us on a weekly basis.
That being said, we thought we would break down how you can select a Membership that suits you and then how you can make the most out of your Weekly Membership at the CLUB.
START SLOWLY AND BE PATIENT WITH YOURSELF
Here at the CLUB we believe it is important that when you commit to any Membership you listen to your body.
If you haven’t been practising pilates regularly then one of the keys to sustaining your practice will be to make sure you don’t overdo it from the get go. It is all too common for people to get very excited by their new Membership and to want to come every day, which unfortunately can sometimes lead to burnout or injury.
Be sure to start slow and give your body the time it needs to recover to enable you to keep coming regularly and build up your routine.
SET YOURSELF REALISTIC GOALS
We have a number of different Weekly Membership options available at the CLUB so you can select the one that suits your realistic goals.
If you’re a regular pilates goer feel free to select an option that will allow you to come multiple times a week. However, if you are easing into it make sure you don’t over commit and be sure to pick an option that is realistic for you.
COMMIT TO A REGULAR ROUTINE
Once you feel like you have a good handle on the number of times you like to come to the CLUB per week, we recommend sticking to a regular routine. This just helps take out a lot of the thought process that goes into organising your weekly workouts if you know that is going to be pretty similar each week!
GET TO KNOW (AND WE MEAN REALLY KNOW) YOUR TRAINERS)
Your instructors at the CLUB are your new best friends! They will help guide you through your workouts and they are always up for a cheeky chat.
It really does help when you share with your instructor what is going on with your body! They will then be able to help modify throughout the class, still allowing you to feel like you’ve had a fulfilling workout.
It’s also not always the physical stuff, sometimes you’re just having an off day. If you feel comfortable let your instructor know, share as much or as little as you please. This just allows your instructor to understand and respect how you might be feeling in your class.
On the other hand, if you’re feeling amazing both physically and mentally and you want those progressions, don’t be afraid to let your instructor know! We guarantee we have them stored up our sleeves for moments exactly like this.
ENGAGE WITH THE CLUB COMMUNITY
There is nothing nicer than seeing our amazing Community interacting with each other when they are in the CLUB. Sometimes it is exactly what you need pre or post a long day at work.
We simply love bringing like minded people together, so maybe next time you’re in for a class strike up a chat with your neighbour - they might surprise you!
MIX UP YOUR WORKOUTS
If you’re coming to the CLUB on the regular we strongly recommend switching between the reformer and hot mat room. Keep yourself engaged!
We find that clients sometimes become complacent with their workouts if they are doing the exact same thing every day, so next time you book in maybe jump into a class that you normally wouldn’t.
RECOVER
Never underestimate the importance of rest!
Make sure you give your body time to recover, it will allow you to keep coming to the CLUB on a regular basis.
As much as we love to see you in the CLUB all the time, we do encourage you to let your muscles recover and to listen to your body. If you’re feeling tired, or you’re a little niggly in certain areas of the body, make sure you honour that and reset before jumping back into a class.
Other fun perks of CLUB Memberships.
All of our Weekly Members are entitled to a maximum of 8 weeks of holds per year and they are on a no lock-in contract so you are free to cancel at any time.
